Original 繁空录·玉袖
Size 100cm x 68cm
At the green orioles' court, the sparrows are chattering.
The embroidered curtains are hanging down.
The auspicious smoke is wafting.
A sheng zither, its sounds floating among the low clouds.
I wonder if it's a fairy maiden from the Rui Palace, flipping her jade sleeves, and dancing like Yaoji (wiki).
Her ice-like beauty and jade-like quality are both so rare.
Look at the willow branches. The soldiers are in their ranks.
The new drumming and singing are so joyful, that it seems to make the two eyebrows dance.
In her sleeve, the peach blossoms are wet with dew.
It shouldn't be wasted. Let's get drunk on the golden wine cup.
One piece from the most famous collection Bloom to Demis by Yiya Wang. The Exhibition in China was one of the the most influential art events in 2021.
According to the artist:
"When I was first creating this series, it was because of my feelings towards the bloom and demise in lives. I wanted to create a strong contrast between the extremely passionate images of life and the desolate scene of a snow-covered wasteland. That's how the series "Bloom to Demise" was born."
