Papier à êtres
FRANCE, PARIS
SOPHIE AND FRÉDÉRIC'S PAPER SCULPTURE LIGHT TAKES PEOPLE TO ALICE'S DREAM THE MOMENT THEY SEE IT.
ALTHOUGH IT LOOKS CALM AND GRACEFUL, THEIR SCULPTURE REVEALS THE KIND OF POWER THAT THE GIRL WOULD START DANCING WHEN THE LIGHT IS ON.
Papier à êtres was founded in 2002, and now it has become one of the best paper art studios in Europe. The two paper artists, Sophie and Frédéric, discovered the chemistry between soft lighting and delicate papercraft. As a result, their artwork perfectly balances the concrete feeling of sculpture on the top and the feather-like softness at the bottom.
When the light is off, their lighting is a well-designed carving figure. And once the light is on, it brings the most romantic mood to the room.
