Mademoiselle is the most popular and classic piece of Papier à Etres.  It is also the first piece of Papier à Etres, inspired all the rest of their work.
 
Frédéric and Sophie met in 2007 , on the occasion of an exhibition devoted to paper. A few months later they joined their expertise and created their first “Mademoiselle” : the pleated base, diffusing the light, was produced by Frédéric, and Sophie modeled a bust on it.
 
Since then, their creative Mademoiselles are displayed or collected by many world reowned organizations:
